This Privacy Policy describes the types of nonpublic personal information that Ridgeline Roofing & Restoration, LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and otherwise processes about you. This Privacy Policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their personal information (“information”) is being used by us. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect, or otherwise handle your information in accordance with our website (or any successor links) and all associated web pages and websites (collectively, the “Site”), or when you otherwise interact with us, such as through our services (the “Services”). Further note that this Site may use Cookies (user identification to improve your web browsing experience) whether or not you are directly inputting information into the Site itself.  

 

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of this policy. If we make material changes, we will provide you with additional notice (such as by adding a statement to the Site or sending you a notification). 1.     What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our Site or app? 

 

When using any of the interactive features on our Site, you may be asked to provide your full name, email, mailing address, date of birth, or other identifying information for identification purposes, to help you with the overall experience and use of our Services and to ensure compliance with applicable laws.2 We also collect information about you when you interact with us on social networking platforms. If you message us or tag us in social networking posts, we will be able to collect information about your message or the post we are tagged in.  

 

We also may collect information about your use of the Site, including but not limited to, search queries, internet protocol address, device specific information, event information (like date and time of access, system activity, crashes, etc.), hardware model, browser type, operating system, and other technical information.  

 

If you engage our Services or solicit the same, or sign up for an event, we also may collect information that you provide about your property, request, addresses, payment information, etc. which may be discussed for the purpose of engaging Company or its goods or Services. If you do not wish to share this information, you can refuse, but doing so may impact our ability to do business with you in the most efficient and productive way possible.  

 

When you contact us through the Site, its interactive features, or any associated application, or otherwise contact us concerning our Services, we may keep a record of your communication as well as any other information specified in this Privacy Policy to help solve any issues you might be facing. We may also send you email notices to keep you informed about our Services, including any changes, improvements, events, upcoming promotions, etc.  

 

2.     When do we collect information? 

 

We may collect information when you respond to a survey, fill out a form, or otherwise enter information on our Site or engage with the Site while using Cookies or the like, or otherwise provide us with information outside of the Site. Certain device specific information is collected when you access the Site from that device.

4.     Do we use Cookies? 

 

Yes. We may use tracking technologies, such as first and third party cookies to collect certain information about visitors to our Site and interactions with our emails and online or mobile advertisements (“Cookies”) in order to improve your experience with the Site. Cookies are small files a Site or its provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through its web browser (if you allow) that enables the Site or its service provider to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. They are used to help us understand your preferences which allows us to provide you with improved Services. We also use Cookies to help us compile aggregate data about Site traffic and interaction so we can offer better Site experiences in the future.

Clear GIFs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier and serve a function similar to Cookies, but in contrast, they are stored on your computer’s hard drive and embed invisibly on web or mobile application pages. We may use Clear GIFs in connection with our Site and App to, among other things, track the activities of users and visitors, help us manage content, and compile statistics about usage of our Site and Apps.  

 

You may turn off all Cookies on your device at any time. Doing so may impact your user experience or what information/interactive experiences are available to you through the Site or its associated applications.

We also share information with business partners with whom we have a relationship, advertisers, or connected sites, which may include parent or subsidiary companies. 

e.   Advertising Partners: We disclose information to third parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. We also disclose de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for such marketing and advertising purposes. 

f.   Professional Advisors: We disclose information to our lawyers and other professional advisors where necessary to obtain advice or otherwise protect and manage our business interests. 

g.   Legal Authorities: We may disclose information as necessary and appropriate to meet law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental or judicial requests. We also may disclose the information we collect from you to comply with the law, a judicial proceeding, or other legal process, such as in response to a court order or subpoena. Further, we may disclose the information we collect from you where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, violations of our Terms or this Policy, or where it is deemed reasonably necessary as evidence in litigation in which Company is involved.  This includes if we believe that disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law or legal process, including lawful requests by public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements and if we believe that your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, if we believe that you have violated the law, or if we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of Company, our users, the public, or others.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our Site. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have and assume no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites.

We engage others to provide analytics services, serve advertisements, and perform related services across the web and in mobile applications. These entities may use Cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and other technologies to collect information about your use of our Site, including your IP address, web browser and mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and links clicked. This information is used to deliver advertising targeted to your interests on other companies’ sites or mobile apps and to analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand your activity.

8.  Children Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) 

 

When it comes to the collection of Personal Information from children under the age of 13 years, COPPA puts parents in control. The FTC, United States’ consumer protection agency, enforces COPPA which spells out what operators of sites and online services must do to protect children’s privacy and safety online. We will not knowingly collect information from children.  

 

9.  CAN SPAM Act  

 

The CAN SPAM Act is a law that governs commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out penalties for violations. We collect your email address to send information, respond to inquiries or requests, and deliver marketing materials.
